This is another digression post where I try to estimate the cost for my son's study at the SIM Global Education's 3-year RMIT Bachelor of Business (Accountancy) Programme in Singapore plus another year at RMIT in Melbourne to obtain the Bachelor of Business (Honours) degree.
Tuition Fee for the 3-Year RMIT Full-Time Programme at SIM Global Education in Singapore
S$40,446 for 24 modules, payable over six semesters
Other Expenses (Transport, Food, phone bills etc.)
Estimated to be $600 per month ($20 per day), $7,200 per year and $21,600 for 3 yearsTotal cost of study for the 3-year programme
$40,446 + $21,600 = $62,046 or $62,000 approximately
Cost of Study for International Students of RMIT Bachelor of Business (Honours) at RMIT in Melbourne
Tuition fee = A$26,880 = S$29,217
Living expenses = A$600 per week or S$652 per week
Academic term: 13 weeks per semester and 2 semesters per year; starting early March and ending in Mid-November (approximately 40 weeks including semester break).
Total living expenses for 40 weeks in Melbourne = $26,080
Total cost for studying at RMIT for a year = $26,080 + $29,117 = $55,197 or $55,000 approximately
Total cost for the 3+1 year RMIT Programme
$62,000 + $55,000 = $117,000
